CNC MACHINIST

JOB DESCRIPTION
Experience Required – This is an ADVANCED position
Salary Range: $26/hr – $36/hr based on experience
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Set-up and operation of CNC Swiss-type and CNC Y-axis Lathes using controlled CNC programs
Build, set and input tool holder geometry into CNC controller
Monitor tooling condition and input tool wear offsets
Work with CNC Programmers to prove-out new First Article Inspection part measurements and qualifications
Read and follow work instructions, manufacturing process documents and Quality System procedures
Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other measuring devices
Perform math calculations using calculator and/or computer
Perform in-process quality inspection and document results
HS diploma with 5+ years required – Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent program preferred
